Softphone for Windows

For front desks that never stop ringing.

Centinelo Phone between calls: your extension, a voicemail badge, the keypad, a Redial bar with the last number, favorites showing each colleague's state with one of them ringing, and recent calls with contact names. Centinelo Phone with an incoming call from Rosa Benitez, a saved contact, at 555-0142: her initials ringed in amber, the words Incoming call over a ring counter, and Decline and Answer buttons. The same call after answering: Rosa Benitez and her number, the timer at 00:00, Mute, Keypad, Hold, Transfer, Park and Record, and an Encrypted call label.

The app between calls. Its only amber light is Luis: his phone is ringing.A call is coming in. Go ahead, answer it.Answered. The light went out because nothing needs you now.Call ended. You are back at the dialer.

Centinelo Phone connects to the phone system you already have. Your receptionist sees every extension at once and moves a call by dragging it onto a person. Transcripts, if you turn them on, are made on the same computer.

The one-light rule

Most of the day, nothing in Centinelo glows. When a call needs someone, a single amber light comes on. It stays the only light on the screen until someone picks up.

Receptionist console

Up to 200 extensions, live on one screen.

The lamps follow what your phone system reports: available, ringing, on a call or offline. Each state has its own shape as well as its own color, so nobody depends on color alone.

The console

To transfer a call, drag it onto a person.

Answer anyone waiting in the queue. Park a call and pick it up again from any desk. When a colleague's phone rings and they are away, take the call from their tile.

The receptionist console in the middle of a transfer: a call from Rowan Ellery is being dropped on Kofi Mensah, whose tile reads Release to transfer. Around it, 32 colleagues grouped by team, two callers waiting on the right and one parked call.
  1. 1The call you hold follows the pointer. The person under it lights up and says Release to transfer.
  2. 2Counts by state across the top: 17 available and 8 on a call.
  3. 3New callers wait on the right with Answer and Decline, oldest first.
  4. 4A parked call keeps its spot number until someone retrieves it.

The real console · names and numbers are made up

The console with extensions sorted into Front desk and Clinical panels, each with its own counts. Tomas Aguilar's tile is ringing and shows a Pick up button. An Arrange button sits at the top right.

Categories your administrator sets up

In Arrange mode, an administrator sorts extensions into categories such as Front desk, Clinical or Billing, and can export the layout for other desks. Each panel folds away when you don't need it.

A ringing tile shows Pick up, so the front desk can take a call for someone who stepped out.

Contacts and history

Names, not numbers.

Import your contacts from a CSV file exported from Google or Outlook. When one of them calls, the app shows the name with the number. Every call lands in a history you can search.

The Contacts screen with 12 made up contacts in alphabetical sections, each with initials, a company or number, and a call button. A search field reads Search name, company or number.

An incoming call that shows the contact name Rosa Benitez above the number 555-0142.
2When a saved contact calls, you see who it is before you answer.
  • CSV import

Bring contacts from Google or Outlook in one file. You see what will be added before anything changes.

  • Favorites from Recents

Add someone to favorites straight from a recent call.

  • Call history

Search by name or number and filter by missed, incoming or outgoing.

  • Notes and export

Add a note to a call and export the history as a CSV file.

  • Voicemail light

The voicemail button shows when you have new messages. One click calls your voicemail.

  • Do not disturb and forwarding

Do not disturb takes one click. Forwarding sends all your calls to another number, using your phone system's feature codes.

  • Queues

Sign in and out of call queues from the main screen, once your administrator adds the queue numbers.

  • CRM screen pop

When a call rings or is answered, your CRM opens in the browser with the caller's number.

Connections

Works with the phone system you already have.

Connect with classic SIP over UDP, TCP or TLS, or over WebSocket (WSS). Pick one, or choose Auto: Centinelo tries WSS first, then TLS, TCP and UDP, and goes back to the first route once it answers again. Ports and paths are yours to set.

Transcription

Transcripts that stay on the computer.

Centinelo hears your microphone and the caller as two separate streams, so the transcript knows who said each line without guessing. Nothing is sent to the cloud. If you'd rather, send it to a server you run yourself.

  • Off until an administrator turns it on.
  • Written on the same computer that took the call.
A saved transcript in Centinelo Phone. Each line is labeled Caller or You with its time, from Call began at 10:42 to Call ended at 10:43, and the footer reads Transcribed on this computer.

Recording

Recording asks first.

Recording is off until an administrator enables it. Before recording a call, the person on the phone confirms the caller agreed. An indicator stays on screen while it runs, and old recordings are deleted on the schedule your administrator sets.

Centinelo never records silently.

A Record this call? box over the call. It explains that recording without consent is against the law in many places, and Start recording works only after ticking I have told the caller this call is being recorded and they agreed.
1Start recording only works once the box is ticked.
The call a few seconds later, with a Recording 0:02 indicator and a Stop button above the Encrypted call label.
2While it records, the timer and Stop stay in view.

Security

Security you can see.

Built for practices where privacy matters. Here are the safeguards, and where each one shows up.

Encrypted · SRTP Not encrypted

An honest lock

Calls are encrypted with DTLS-SRTP or SRTP. The indicator says Encrypted only when the call really is. When it isn't, it tells you so.

SHA-256 4F:9A:1C:77 ··· 0B:E2:C2 Matches the pinned server

Your server, pinned

Over TLS, Centinelo can check the fingerprint of your phone system's certificate. If the certificate changes without warning, it won't connect.

Settings that lock again

Your administrator can lock settings. After someone unlocks them to make a change, they lock again on their own after a few idle minutes.

No phone numbers in the logs

Log files record what the app did. They never record the numbers it dialed or received.

Screens

Every screen here is the real app.

These were captured from Centinelo Phone with made up names and numbers. They are shown in the light theme.

Setup

Ready on day one.

The app is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.

One link from your administrator

Your IT person sends a setup link. Before anything changes, Centinelo lists every setting it will touch. If the link would turn encryption off, you get a loud warning first.
